Which browsers are compatible with this self-service site?

Our site is compatible with the latest Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.

For Internet Explorer users: This site is only compatible with Internet Explorer version 8 or higher.

 

How do I place an ad?

It's easy to place print and online ads by following these easy steps:

  1. Select your ad category and classification
  2. Select Your package
  3. Customize and Schedule your online and print ads
  4. Choose the way your ad will look by adding enhancements (photos, attention getters, borders and shading) and how it will read by adding your own text
  5. Review your ad, then register with us (or log in if you are an existing customer).
  6. Pay for your ad using our secure credit card system (You'll receive a confirmation email right away!)

 

When will my ad (or my changes) appear?

You will be able to select your start date according to the available dates for your specific ad type. Our deadlines are programmed into the system. Please note: Newly-submitted ads do not appear right away. They must first be approved by one of our staff during regular business hours. This also applies to any changes made to your ad.

How do I upload and crop photos for my ad?

Your browser must support HTML5 or Flash in order to use this feature. The photo uploader tool can be found at the bottom of the "Customize Your Ad" step (where you type your ad text). Each image/photo allowed by your package will have a square placeholder. Just click the "Upload Image" link beside the image placeholder, browse for your photo on your computer/device, and select it.

To crop the image: Once your image/photo is uploaded, you can then crop the image if you like, by clicking the "Crop Image" link beside the image. Your image will be shown in a pop-up window. Click and drag your mouse over the image to set your crop area. Your crop area will automatically be set to a certain shape.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card.

How do I create an account/password/login?

Near the end of the order taking process, you will be prompted to log in. If you do not already have an account with us, the New Account form will appear below that. You will be able to choose your own username and password.

When I create the account, will I also be able to log in to your classifieds listings site?

No. You may return to our Homepage by clicking on "Return to ArkansasOnline.com" in the top right-hand corner of the webpage.

What affects the price of my ad?

Several factors influence the cost of an advertisement:

  1. Category
  2. Size of ad
  3. Area of Exposure (Statewide/Non-Statewide
  4. Package
  5. Enhancements

My ad did not appear online. What do I do?

If you are not able to locate your ad, please email us at classifieds@arkansasonline.com or call 1-800-342-3375.

What is the refund policy?

Advertisements that are canceled before the ad's booking deadline will receive a full refund.
No refunds are issued for advertisements that are canceled after the ad's booking deadline. To see our deadline details, click the Deadlines link (you can find it beside the FAQ link). Please note that deadlines are subject to change without notice.

There are no refunds for errors in the text and details of an advertisement that have been entered by an advertising customer. Please ensure that you read your advertisements carefully before finalizing your purchase.

There is no refund for a customer's claim that an advertisement had little or no response. We do not guarantee responses or results from an advertisement.
